Principal Adviser
Darin is one of our Principal Advisers who works with both BIS Super (BIS Cosgrove’s SMSF division) and Balanced Investment Strategies (BIS Cosgrove’s financial planning division).
After achieving his Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce in 2010, Darin kicked his career off in the corporate world, building on his technical knowledge and using this time to develop exceptional client relationship skills before joining BIS Cosgrove in 2015.
Darin brings an impressive skillset to his role. His knowledge extends from investment strategy, financial planning structure and strategy, superannuation and insurance through to complex SMSF strategy, accounting and tax planning, and structural advice.
He has an extensive knowledge of the evolving superannuation landscape and works closely with SMSF trustees to both educate and help them navigate this complex area. Darin earned his SMSFA Specialist Advisor accreditation in 2019.
Apart from working with clients to build and manage their portfolios and structures, Darin has also played a pivotal role in identifying and implementing the philosophy that forms the basis for our investment recommendations and regularly contributes to the firms Investment Committee meetings.
